The South Shore Symphony Orchestra is a widely acclaimed non-profit, professional orchestra that promotes the understanding and appreciation of symphonic music in the South Shore and greater Tampa Bay areas through regular performances of classical music. Since 2010, this group of professional musicians from throughout Tampa Bay gather together to perform for the enjoyment of residents of Hillsborough County's South Shore and the entire Tampa Bay. Every year the SSSO has grown in size and has gained a reputation for their energetic and personalized concerts. Under the baton of Artistic Director, Dr June C Hammond, the SSSO continues to provide a high-quality and diverse classical and pops repertoire.

Auditions for specific instruments are ongoing.  If you would like to be a part of the SSSO, check back with us for more information.
